Mikayla has been part of the volleyball program at the University of Northwestern as a libero and defensive specialist, bringing years of experience and steady leadership to the court. She helped UNW reach the NCAA Final Four in 2022 and the Elite 8 in 2023.

Mikayla played club volleyball beginning in the 3rd grade and spent many years in the Kokoro program on the highest team at each age.  She earned multiple all-conference honors during her high school career in the Northwest suburban conference, where she was recognized as one of the top 35 underclassmen and top 75 juniors in the state.

Along with competing, Mikayla has coached at Kokoro for three years, leading both teams and camps. Mikayla is currently studying Health Sciences and Chemistry with plans to pursue a career in medical laboratory science.
