blythe broman (reints) played collegiately as a middle blocker for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes from 2019 to 2021, competing in the Big Ten Conference. Known for her strong net presence and communication, Blythe brought energy, discipline, and leadership to the middle blocker position. She made an immediate impact as a freshman, recording 11 blocks in a single match, one of the top defensive performances in program history. Throughout her career, Blythe contributed on both sides of the ball, posting strong numbers in blocks, kills, and attack percentage against high-level Big Ten competition.

Before Iowa, Blythe was a standout at St. Paul Academy and Summit School, where she set school records in digs, kills, aces, and blocks while earning multiple high school honors. She also played club volleyball with Northern Lights, winning a national championship in the 17-Open division. Off the court, Blythe balanced athletics with academics, earning her undergraduate degree before completing her master’s degree at the University of Minnesota.

She is currently working as a structural engineer at MBJ and married her husband Anders in June.
